Prima Star Dance is our most popular early childhood dance education program, where we offer a range of dance classes for kids ages 3 to 6.  Our students don’t just learn the basics of dance. Prima Star Dance 1-4

Does your little one spin around the house and dance every time their favorite song comes on? Here’s the perfect program to introduce your little dancer to movement and music in a fun and enriching environment.

Prima Star Dance classes are designed to capture your child’s attention, teach them social skills, and instill confidence. In this program, your child will develop fundamental dance skills, while learning active body placement and awareness. We’ll encourage your dancer to explore and learn while gaining confidence, self-expression and meaningful friendships.

Your child’s class will include dancing on their own, dancing in partners and with groups of friends. We’ll engage your child’s interest with rhymes, stories and props like scarves, ribbons and much more. Our unique theme-based classes will keep your child excited for dance class week after week.

Prima Star Dance is a 4-level creative movement program for ages 3-7. It covers all the skills and important building blocks that kids need to feel prepared for future dance styles and classes. The skills and building blocks we focus on are: posture, poise, musicality, rhythm, spatial awareness, body awareness, following direction, Right and Left, basic dance terminology, self expression, and confidence.

Prima Star Jazz/Tap Combo

Are you looking for the ultimate fun, energetic, and upbeat dance class that will keep your child active and engaged? Prima Star Jazz/Tap is the perfect dance class to spark your child’s love of movement and creativity! Students will learn both tap and jazz dance skills in this exciting class.  Your child will love dancing to upbeat, popular music that inspires movement and positivity in an encouraging and nurturing environment. Fun props, disco lights and dance parties make the end of class the most fun!

• Prima Star Jazz/Tap – JK to Grade 1

Prima Star AcroDance

Does your child love dance and gymnastics? Prima Star AcroDance is the perfect class to develop physical literacy in a fun and active environment. Following the Acrobatic Arts AcroDance curriculum for ages 3-6 your child will learn Acro positions, locomotive skills, balance, and movement concepts through imaginary play, fun and games. By the end of the season your child will be able to correctly perform pre-cartwheels, L handstands, and somersaults, and will be ready to work their way up to handstands, cartwheels, and walkovers, and eventually, back-handsprings, and ariels effortlessly across the stage! This is a great stand-alone class for boys and girls, and is also a fantastic addition to a Prima Star Dance or Jazz/Tap class. The Acrobatic Arts curriculum follows a safe and technical progression of Acro skills to ensure your child is building the correct skills of an Acro dancer.

Got a kiddo that loves to dance? Is your child ready to move and groove to some awesome beats? Our Prima Star Hip Hop program is the place to be if you love dancing and having fun.

Prima Star Hip Hop is a super cool dance class that has lots of different moves to learn. We’ll teach your child everything they need to know and make it super fun and easy to learn.

This class is all about creating explosive moves that will have your child feeling like a superstar. We’ll start with the basics and work our way up to some seriously cool routines that will impress all your friends.
Prima Star Hip Hop is all about expressing yourself and having fun, so get ready to show off your own unique style. You’ll feel like a total dance machine as you learn new moves and create your own awesome routines.
